About:

DJC UAV Logo.png

I have been in Sales and Marketing virtually my entire working career.

Aviation has always been a passion.  Received my Private Pilots License within the minimum 35 hour requirement and Commercial Ground School, but unfortunately gave it up at a young age, and did not complete my Commercial endorsement. However I did log close to 200 hours of seat time in the process.

RC has always been a hobby.  I was involved in the Late 70’s as a teenager for about 5 years, but got out of it with wife and family coming along.  As the kids grew, and went off to University, I became re-involved about 15 years ago in our Local club www.whitbyaeromodellers.com   I was the VP, Media/Website guy, and I was Chief Flight instructor for one season.

I was also one of the Volunteer pilots that fly’s the BLIMP at the Oshawa Generals OHL hockey games. https://youtu.be/PUXxoIhUjo8

I fly everything from Planes to Helicopters to Quads.  I would consider myself of intermediate/expert skill level.

The Drone flying has been the most exciting since taking it back up a few years ago. I got involved in the FPV Drone Racing, which is wild!!!   Still have a lot to learn in this realm.

My first Camera Drone was a BLADE 350 QX3, equipped with a Yuneec CGO2 Gimbal/Camera.  More recently, I operated the DJI MAVIC  & DJI Mini 2.  Currently, I have switched to the DJI Mini 5 Pro , 4K video and 50MP Photographs. Auto and Manual Video/Camera settings and ND Filters used.  The DJI Neo 2 is also available for specialized applications.

.

I have always had a love for photography and adding in the RPAS / UAV component is a natural.  The opportunity of blending my passions into a Part Time job is great fun.  I would love to talk more about the opportunities of us working together on projects.

I look forward to hearing from you.
